Job summary

Choice Health at Home is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support licensed physical therapists in a Tucson home health setting. You will implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and adapt activities to optimize recovery, while communicating effectively with patients and families.

The role requires an accredited PTA program, valid PTA license, CPR certification, and a valid driver's license. HomeHealth experience is preferred, along with familiarity with HomeCare HomeBase.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program and state licensure exam.
• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license
• 1 year of home health experience preferred
• AHA CPR certification
• Valid Driver's License
• Valid Auto Insurance
• HomeCare HomeBase experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in executing individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities under supervision.
• Monitor and document patient responses to treatment.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and equipment and injury prevention.
• Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment and sanitize equipment.
