Job summary

Choice Health At Home is seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in Colorado Springs to support licensed physical therapists in delivering high-quality rehabilitative care.

The PTA will implement treatment plans, monitor patient progress, and educate patients and families to maximize mobility and independence in daily activities. Experience in home health and CPR certification are preferred, with a driver’s license and insurance required.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited physical therapy program and state licensure exam.
• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license.
• 1 year of home health experience preferred.
• AHA CPR certification.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Valid Auto Insurance.
• HomeCare HomeBase experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in executing individualized treatment plans for patients with musculoskeletal or neurological conditions.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities under supervision of a PT.
• Monitor and document patient responses to treatment and report progress to the PT.
• Educate patients and families on exercises, use of assistive devices, and injury prevention strategies.
• Maintain a safe, clean treatment environment and ensure equipment is sanitized.
