Job summary

Choice Health At Home seeks a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to assist licensed physical therapists in delivering rehabilitative care at our Athens home health branch. You will implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and help patients regain mobility and independence.

You will educate patients and families, document responses, and maintain a safe, clean treatment area. Requires an accredited PTA program, state license, CPR, and a valid driver's license; home health experience

Qualifications

• Accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program completed.
• State licensure exam completed and active.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists in executing individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises and modalities under supervision.
• Monitor and document patient responses; communicate progress to supervising PT.
• Educate patients and families on exercises and devices to prevent injuries.
• Maintain a safe, clean treatment environment and sanitize equipment.
