Zusammenfassung

VitalCaring is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to deliver hands-on therapy in patients' homes. You’ll work one-on-one with individuals to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore independence, guided by a licensed Physical Therapist.

This field-based role offers autonomy with support, collaboration with care teams, ongoing training, and a strong emphasis on patient-centered outcomes. For qualified candidates, we provide comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program.
• Current PTA license or certification as required by state law.
• 1+ year of experience preferred (home health experience a plus).
• Current CPR certification.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Follow individualized plans of care to help patients reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore function.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and functional mobility.
• Support patients with transfers, strengthening, and activities of daily living.
• Utilize therapeutic modalities as appropriate (heat, cold, ultrasound, electrical stimulation).
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and use of assistive devices.
