VitalCaring is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to deliver field-based, one-on-one home health care. You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to implement personalized plans of care aimed at reducing pain, improving mobility, and restoring function in patients’ homes.

The ideal candidate has PTA program training, an active PTA license where required, CPR certification, and reliable transportation.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program and hold PTA license as required by state law.
• Minimum 1 year of PTA/home health experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Follow individualized plans of care to reduce pain, improve mobility, and restore function.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance, and functional mobility.
• Support patients with transfers, strengthening, and activities of daily living.
• Utilize modalities such as heat, cold, ultrasound, and electrical stimulation as appropriate.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, safety, and use of assistive devices.
