Job summary

DFW Home Health, part of the LHC Group family, is hiring a Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patients in the Fort Worth area, covering Azle. Relocation bonus is available.

As a PTA, you will perform treatment and provide exercise guidance under the supervising Physical Therapist, aiming to improve the patient’s well-being in home health settings. Join a team dedicated to Caring, Connecting, Growing together.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation
• Available to work a weekend rotation
• CPR certification preferred or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
• Ability to perform physical tasks required for patient care, including lifting, transferring, and assisting with mobility

Responsibilities

• Follow state-specific laws governing provision of physical therapy in home care, perform only supervised procedures
• Instruct and aid patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, and mobility training
• Observe, record, and report patient response to treatment to supervising PT and care team
• Educate patient, family, caregiver, and health care team on therapy within PTA scope
• Function in any home setting regardless of patient demographics
