Job summary

Your Health Organization is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our growing primary care team. You will work under licensed therapists to deliver rehabilitative services to homebound patients and help implement treatment plans.

This full-time, salary-based role includes a monthly bonus potential and two schedules: weekdays with occasional weekends, and a longer 7 on/7 off cycle. You will provide services across homes and care facilities in GA and surrounding states.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a PTA in the state of practice.
• CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Compassion and empathy for patients undergoing rehabilitation.
• Physical stamina and dexterity necessary to assist patients with mobility and perform therapeutic activities.
• Pelvic Health Experience and/or interest.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans under PT supervision.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises with patients.
• Educate patients on rehabilitation techniques.
• Document patient progress and maintain records.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor progress.
• Instruct and assist patients with exercises and activities.
• Maintain clean, organized therapy environments and sanitize equipment.
• Coordinate discharge plans and follow-up services.
