Job summary

Your Health Organization in Georgia is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our home-based care team. You will assist licensed therapists, conduct therapeutic exercises, educate patients, and document progress, supporting recovery for homebound clients.

This full-time, salary-based role offers opportunities for bonus earnings, with schedules including weekdays and one weekend per month or a rotating 7-on/7-off cycle.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Compassion and empathy for patients undergoing rehabilitation.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to assist patients with mobility.
• Pelvic Health Experience and/or interest

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans.
• Conduct exercises with patients and educate proper techniques.
• Document patient progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and instruct patients in therapeutic activities.
• Monitor patients during therapy sessions and maintain a safe environment.
• Coordinate discharge plans and follow-up services with care teams.
