Job summary

Your Health Organization in Georgia is seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our home-based care team. You will assist licensed therapists, implement treatment plans, and guide patients through rehabilitation exercises in homes, ALFs, and ILFs.

The role is salary-based with potential monthly bonuses. Two schedules are available, Monday–Friday with one weekend per month or seven days on/ seven days off. Two locations serving GA/SC/FL communities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a PTA in the state of practice.
• CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Compassion and empathy for patients undergoing rehabilitation.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to assist patients with mobility and performing therapeutic activities.
• Pelvic Health experience and/or interest.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans and conducting therapeutic exercises.
• Educate patients on proper techniques for rehabilitation and document progress.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and supervise exercises and activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized therapy environment and sanitize equipment.
• Communicate with therapists and other professionals to coordinate patient care and adjust plans.
• Assist in discharge planning and provide follow-up care instructions.
