Job summary

Varco Home Health, Hospice and Homecare is seeking a PT assistant for one-on-one in-home therapy on a PRN basis in Texas. You will work under a Physical Therapist to support mobility, independence, and quality of life for patients.

The role offers a flexible, self-managed schedule and is ideal for PTAs seeking work-life balance or additional income. Home health experience and reliable transportation are preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Texas PTA license is required.
• Home health experience preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently in a home setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist.
• Assist patients with exercises to improve strength, mobility, and balance.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety.
• Document visits accurately and in a timely manner.
• Support patient goals and functional independence.
