AMEDISYS HOME HEALTH is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PRN) to join our home health team in Georgia. You will deliver PT services under supervision, following an approved plan of care to help patients heal where they live.

This role emphasizes patient-focused care, documentation, and collaboration with PTs and nurses. A CAPTE-accredited PTA program graduate with CPR certification is required; prior home health experience is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Current license to practice as a PTA in the assigned state.
• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• One year of related PTA experience in home health preferred.
• If less than one year, regional clinical leaders approval and mentoring may be required.
• Current CPR certification.

Aufgaben

• Provides physical therapy services under the direction of a PT and in accordance with the approved plan of care.
• Observes, records and reports patient responses to treatment to the supervising PT and staff.
• Promotes wellness and prevention and provides resources for future needs.
• Documents supervisory activities in the patient’s medical record.
• Monitors patient responses to PT intervention and documents changes.
• Participates in patient care conferences, trainings and quality improvement activities.
• Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
• Makes follow-up care recommendations in coordination with the admitting agency.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
