Job summary

AMEDISYS HOME HEALTH is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver therapy services in patients' homes in Texas. You will work under a supervising PT to implement the plan of care, monitor responses, and document progress while promoting wellness and safety.

Requirements include a CAPTE-accredited PTA program, current PTA license, CPR certification, and likely 1 year of home health experience. Competitive pay and benefits are offered with a focus on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current PTA license in the assigned state.
• Graduate from an accredited PTA program as per CAPTE guidelines.
• Minimum of 1 year PTA home health experience or approval/mentoring plan for less than 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Document patient progress and changes to the care plan.
• Promote wellness and prevention in home health settings.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate charting.
• Collaborate with care teams and coordinate referrals.
