Job summary

Caretenders Home Health, part of the LHC Group within UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patients in home health. You will perform treatments, lead exercise instruction, and educate patients per the plan of care in a caring, patient-centric environment.

Responsibilities include following supervising PT guidance, facilitating exercises, documenting responses, and teaching patients and families about therapy within your PTA scope.

Qualifications

• Licensed to assist in physical therapy in the state of practice.
• Driver's license and access to reliable transportation.
• Weekend rotation availability.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and work only under the supervising PT's plan.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercises and gait training.
• Record patient responses and coordinate care with the health team.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy within PTA scope.
• Coordinate care regardless of patient age, race, or condition.
