Job summary

Optum–Elite Home Health is hiring a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver in-home therapy across Arkansas. You will follow the established plan of care, provide exercise instruction, and educate patients and families to support well-being.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in Arkansas.
• Current driver’s license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Follow all state laws governing home PT, perform only therapy procedures defined by the supervising PT, and suggest changes to the plan of care.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, transfers, and safety measures.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment to the supervising PT and coordinate care with the health care team.
• Educate patient, family, caregiver, and other health team members on therapy within the PTA scope.
