Job summary

Optum and Elite Home Health, a part of LHC Group, are hiring a Full Time Licensed PTA in the home health setting in Arkansas. The role focuses on following the plan of care under a supervising Physical Therapist, guiding patients through therapeutic exercises, and educating families to support recovery.

You'll perform treatment under state laws, assist with gait, ADL, and mobility training, and coordinate with the healthcare team to optimize patient well‑being.

Qualifications

• Arkansas license to practice physical therapy.
• Current CPR certification.
• Driver's license and vehicle insurance or access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in home health with diverse patients.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and PT plan of care under supervising PT.
• Instruct patients in active and passive exercise, gait, ADL, transfers.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment and coordinate with care team.
• Educate patient, family, and other care team members on therapy within scope.
