Job summary

Care Partners Home Health is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Assistant to perform treatment, provide exercise instruction, and educate patients under the supervising Physical Therapist. The role covers Wetzel, Tyler, Marshall, and Ohio Counties with a focus on safety, gait, and ADL training.

Responsibilities include following state laws, coordinating with the care team, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws and plan of care defined by supervising PT.
• Instructs and assists patients in exercise, gait, ADL, transfer, and safety training.
• Observe and report patient responses and coordinate with care team.
• Educate patient, family, and health care team on therapy within PTA scope.
