Qualifications

• Associate’s degree for Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy Assistants from an accredited program.
• Two years’ experience as a licensed rehabilitation therapy assistant (LPTA or COTA) in health care.
• Must have Tennessee licensure as LPTA or COTA and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and administers treatment plans under the guidance of a licensed therapist.
• Monitors patient progress and documents notes in medical records.
