Job summary

Your Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our growing primary care team. You will work closely with licensed therapists to provide rehabilitative services to homebound patients, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress.

The role requires an associate degree, current licensure eligibility, CPR certification, and strong teamwork and communication skills. A monthly bonus is available, and the position is full-time offering diverse care settings.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
• Current licensure or eligibility to practice as a PTA in the state of practice.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Compassion and empathy for patients undergoing rehabilitation.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to assist patients with mobility.
• Pelvic Health experience or interest.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in delivering rehabilitative services.
• Implement treatment plans and conduct therapeutic exercises.
• Educate patients on proper rehabilitation techniques and monitor progress.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized therapy environment and sanitize equipment.
• Coordinate discharge plans and follow-up services as advised by the care team.
