Job summary

Your Health Organization seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our primary care team. You will work with licensed therapists to provide rehabilitative services to homebound patients, supporting treatment plans and educating patients on exercises and safety.

This full-time, salary-based role offers a monthly bonus, a collaborative multidisciplinary environment, and opportunities for professional growth while serving patients in homes, facilities, and clinics.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of practice.
• CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Compassion and empathy for patients undergoing rehabilitation.
• Physical stamina and dexterity necessary to assist patients with mobility.
• Pelvic Health Experience and/or interest.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans.
• Conduct therapeutic exercises with patients and monitor progress.
• Educate patients on rehabilitation techniques and home exercises.
• Document patient progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Assist in discharge planning and follow‑up care instructions.
• Maintain a clean, organized therapy environment and sanitize equipment.
