Qualifications

• Graduate of a physical therapy school approved by the American Physical Therapy Association
• Licensed or registered by the state of California
• Preference of at least one year of institutional experience
• Valid CPR certification, driver's license, and auto insurance

Responsabilités

• Partner with the physician in evaluating patients by applying diagnostic and prognostic tests and establishing goals.
• Guide and instruct patients in prescribed therapeutic activities to relieve pain or restore function.
• Record and report patient responses and changes to therapy to the physician and home health office staff.
• Train patients, families, and caregivers in the use of prosthetic/orthotic devices and assistive devices.
• Instruct patients and families in the total physical therapy program and provide instructional handouts.
