Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of a physical therapy school approved by the APTA or related bodies.
• Licensed or registered by the state of California.
• Preference of at least 1 year of institutional experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and establish goals with the physician.
• Instruct patients in therapeutic activities to relieve pain or restore function.
• Record patient responses to therapy and changes in condition.
• Train patients and caregivers in use of assistive devices.
• Prepare assessments, plans of care, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
