Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a physical therapy assistant in the state assigned.
• Graduate from an accredited PTA program (CAPTE).
• One year of related PTA experience in home health preferred.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services and interventions under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist as per plan of care.
• Observes and reports patient responses to treatment to PT and clinical staff.
• Documents supervisory activities and patient progress in medical records.
• Monitors and documents patient response to therapy and coordinates follow-up care.
