Job summary

CareRing Health, LLC seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide home-based OT services in accordance with licensure requirements and Agency policies. You will assess function, coordinate care with physicians and supervisors, and plan interventions.

Responsibilities include client assessment, creating plans of care, implementing treatment to improve ROM, strength, and independence, educating clients and caregivers, supervising OTAs and HH Aides, and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Holds a current Occupational Therapy License.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
• One-year clinical experience; home health experience preferred.
• CPR certification.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients using age-appropriate norms and growth/development principles.
• Formulate plans of care with client, supervisor, and physician approval.
• Identify unmet client needs and refer to appropriate disciplines.
• Educate clients/caregivers to enhance self-care abilities.
• Deliver OT services in the home as prescribed by a physician.
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses according to regulations.
