Job summary

UnitedHealth Group in Florida is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in their homes, promoting independence, safety, and quality of life. Qualifications

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state you are assigned to work.
• Graduate of an OT program accredited by ACOTE of AOTA or successor organizations.
• Eligible to take NBCOT entry-level certification.
• One year related OT experience to ensure knowledge and skills to safely provide OT services.
• If less than one year experience, approval from regional clinical leaders and mentoring/residency required.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver OT services under a physician-approved plan of care.
• Ensure the plan addresses all problems identified in the assessment and document rationale if not addressed.
• Accountable for safety and effectiveness of OT service delivery.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
• Supervise home health aide when RN is not active in the case.
• Other duties as assigned.
