Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in their homes, promoting independence, safety, and improved quality of life. You will collaborate with patients, families, and an interdisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans following physician orders and agency policies.

The role requires ACOTE-accredited OT education, active licensure, CPR certification, and NBCOT eligibility, with at least 1 year of related experience.

Qualifications

• ACOTE-accredited OT program completed.
• Current OT license for the state of assignment.
• CPR certification current.
• Eligible to take the NBCOT certification exam.

Responsibilities

• Deliver OT services per physician-approved plan of care.
• Ensure plan of care addresses identified problems and document rationale when not addressed.
• Ensure safety and effectiveness of OT service delivery.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
• Supervise home health aide when RN is not active in the case.
• Other duties as assigned.
