Qualifications

• Graduate of an ACOTE-accredited OT program and licensed to practice in the state you are assigned to work.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Eligible to take, or has completed, the NBCOT certification exam.
• Minimum 1+ years OT experience to ensure safe service delivery; regional leadership approval if less than 1 year may be required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of occupational therapy service delivery under physician-approved plan of care.
• Ensures the plan of care addresses problems identified in the assessment.
• Accountable for safety and effectiveness of the OT service delivery process.
• Completes documentation timely and accurately.
• Supervises home health aide when RN is not active in the case.
