Job summary

Elite Home Health in Florida seeks a dedicated Occupational Therapist to provide in-home services under physician orders, supporting patient independence and safety. You will work with the interdisciplinary team to implement individualized plans and monitor progress.

Requirements include an accredited OT program graduate, current Florida OT license, CPR, and at least one year of experience; travel to patient homes is common, with emphasis on documentation and compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Florida OT license in good standing.
• Minimum of one year of OT experience; home health preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing patient evaluations to assess functional status and therapy needs.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy interventions in home health settings.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safety and activities of daily living.
• Document care, reassess, and coordinate with the care team.
• Supervise OTA and Home Health Aide as required.
