Job summary

CARETenders, part of the Optum family, is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant in Massachusetts to provide home care OT services and help patients regain maximal physical function.

Responsibilities include following state laws and the plan of care, aiding patients with evidence-based therapy, documenting responses, and educating family and care teams. Must hold OTA licensure, a valid driver's license, and NBOT MA certification.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Must be certified and in good standing with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy: MA

Responsibilities

• Follow state laws governing occupational therapy in home care and adhere to supervising OT's treatment plan.
• Instruct and assist patients with evidence-based treatments within scope and state laws.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses and changes to the nurse supervisor and physician.
