Job summary

UnitedHealth Group seeks an Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide in-home therapy, following the supervising OT's plan and state laws. You will document patient progress, educate families, and adapt to varied home settings while delivering high-quality care.

Applicants must hold MA OTA licensure, have a valid driver's license, and may need CPR certification. Competitive pay includes per-visit and hourly components across full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle, or public transportation.
• Must be certified and in good standing with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy: MA
• Preferred: Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy to patients to restore them to their fullest physical ability.
• Follow state-specific laws and the supervising OT's treatment plan.
• Observe, record, and report patient responses to treatment to the nurse supervisor and physician.
• Instruct patients, families, caregivers, and other health team members in therapy.
• Function effectively in diverse home environments and with diverse client needs.
