Commonwealth Home Health, part of the Optum family, is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver OT services to patients in home care settings. The role requires licensing in the state and a valid driver's license with access to a vehicle.

The position is full-time with 32 hours weekly, with additional hours possible. The OTA will follow supervision and state regulations, implement the plan of care, and collaborate with nurses and physicians.

Qualifications

• Current OTA licensure in state of practice.
• Current driver's license and access to a dependable vehicle.
• CPR certification preferred or achievable within 90 days.

Responsabilités

• Provide occupational therapy to patients in home care.
• Follow plan of care and state laws for OTAs.
• Observe and report patient responses to treatment to supervisor/physician.
• Instruct patient, family, and care team on therapy activities.
• Maintain professionalism and adapt to diverse patient needs.
