CareRing Health is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide professional OT services in the home setting, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and agency policies.

The role includes developing and implementing care plans, educating clients and caregivers, and coordinating with physicians and supervisors to meet client needs. Strong communication, organizational, and supervisory skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT in Virginia.
• Accredited OT program with eligibility for national exam.
• One-year clinical/home health experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and human relations skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
• Ability to employ critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess clients using age-appropriate norms and development.
• Formulate plans of care with client, supervisor, and physician approval.
• Identify unmet client needs and refer to appropriate disciplines.
• Educate client and caregiver to improve self-care abilities.
• Deliver OT services as prescribed, including home health care.
• Document assessments and interventions per policy and regulations.
• Supervise OT Assistants and HH Aides as directed.
• Participate in discharge planning and case conferences.
