UnitedHealth Group is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients in their homes, promoting independence and safety. You will collaborate with patients and families to develop individualized plans based on physician orders and agency policies.

Responsibilities include delivering OT services under a physician-approved plan of care, documenting care, and supervising aides when needed. A1+ year OT experience and active licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an occupational therapy program accredited by ACOTE.
• Current license to practice occupational therapy in the state of assignment.
• Eligible to take NBCOT certification exam or has completed it.
• Current CPR certification.
• 1+ years of related occupational therapy experience.
• Approval from regional clinical leaders or mentoring if less than 1 year.

Responsabilités

• Provide OT services in home health under physician plan of care.
• Ensure plan of care addresses identified problems and document rationale.
• Ensure safety and effectiveness of OT service delivery.
• Complete documentation timely and accurately.
• Supervise home health aide when RN not active in case.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
