Job summary
Amedisys is hiring a Nurse Practitioner in Norfolk, Nebraska, to provide compassionate home health care. You will assess, diagnose, treat, and coordinate care for patients at home, with a focus on comfort and quality of life.
Starting pay ranges from $50 to $80 per hour based on experience, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth within one of the largest home health providers in the U.S.
Qualifications
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of assignment.
- Minimum 1 year NP experience or hospice RN experience in the last 3 years.
- Authority to practice and prescribe as NP in the service state.
- Must have Medicare billing privileges as NP.
- Current CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Communicate significant findings and changes to the clinical manager/attending physician and other interdisciplinary team members.
- Complete face-to-face encounters and assess disease changes, decline in function, adherence and QoL.
- Order and review labs, X-rays, EKGs and other diagnostics for palliation/treatment and document plan.
- Make referrals to other disciplines as indicated by patient needs.
- Actively participate in interdisciplinary team conferences.
