Job summary

Cantex in Fort Worth is seeking a Home Health Business Development Specialist to drive referral growth and census expansion. You will build partnerships with hospitals, SNFs, physicians, and community groups, promoting home health services and overseeing market strategies to boost admissions.

You will work with leadership to align marketing efforts, track pipelines, and mentor business development staff, ensuring efficient referral-to-admission processes and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Three years of home health business development experience.
• Proven track record of achieving admission and census growth.
• Strong understanding of home health services and referral sources.
• Experience with CRM or lead-tracking systems.
• Excellent communication, presentation and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic business development and healthcare marketing plans that support referral growth and patient census objectives.
• Build and maintain referral relationships with hospitals, physician practices, SNFs, and community organizations.
• Conduct sales calls, presentations, programs, and in-service meetings to promote home health services.
• Identify and pursue referral opportunities, market trends, and business growth initiatives within the assigned territory.
• Maintain and grow patient census and referral activity in alignment with organizational goals.
• Collaborate with leadership to support market expansion strategies and business development initiatives.
• Assist with the development, implementation, and evaluation of marketing materials, campaigns, and outreach activities.
• Support the recruitment, training, coaching, and development of business development personnel when assigned.
• Partner with clinical and operational teams to facilitate efficient referral-to-admission processes and improve conversion outcomes.
• Monitor referral pipelines, lead-tracking systems, conversion ratios, and business development metrics.
• Provide regular reporting and communication regarding market activity, referral trends, growth opportunities, and performance results.
• Represent the organization professionally within healthcare networks and community partnerships.
