Job summary

Modivcare is seeking Certified Home Health Aides to provide one-on-one care in clients' homes in Jersey City and neighboring towns. This role offers immediate openings, a $16/hour base pay, weekly pay, and flexible full-time or part-time schedules.

Qualifications

• Valid NJ Board of Nursing Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license.
• English preferred; bilingual options are a plus.
• Drivers preferred.
• Must show compassion, reliability, trustworthiness, and honesty.

Responsibilities

• Bring comfort and companionship to clients in their homes
• Frequent standing and walking; assisting daily activities (dressing, bathing, and meals)
• Help with daily care like dressing, bathing, toileting, and meals
• Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming
• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines
• Comfortable working in diverse client homes and respecting personalities and behaviors
• Be a friendly face and a steady presence

Job Responsibilities:

• Frequent standing and walking; assisting members with daily activities (dressing, bathing, and meals); bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
• Help with daily carelike dressing, bathing, toileting, and meals
• Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming
• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines
• Comfortable working in diverse client homes and respecting various personalities and behaviors.
