Job summary

Modivcare is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide to provide one-on-one care in clients' homes in Union, Elizabeth and surrounding areas. Earn $16 per hour, with weekly pay and a flexible schedule including full-time, part-time, and weekend shifts.

Requirements include a valid NJ CHHA license; bilingual English preferred; drivers preferred. You’ll support with daily activities, companionship, medication reminders, and create a safe, caring home environment.

Qualifications

• Valid NJ Board of Nursing CHHA license.
• Willing to work in Union, Elizabeth and surrounding areas.
• English or bilingual English preferred.
• Driver's license preferred.
• Compassion, reliability, trustworthiness, and honesty.

Responsibilities

• Provide comfort and companionship to clients in their homes.
• Assist with daily activities: dressing, bathing, meals, mobility.
• Help with daily care — dressing, bathing, toileting, meals.
• Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming.
• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines.
• Be a friendly face and a steady presence in diverse client homes.

Job Responsibilities

• Frequent standing and walking; assisting members with daily activities (dressing, bathing, and meals); bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
• Help with daily care — like dressing, bathing, toileting, and meals

• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines
• Comfortable working in diverse client homes and respecting various personalities and behaviors.
