Job summary

Modivcare in Trenton, NJ is looking for a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide one-on-one in-home care. Earn $16 per hour with additional rewards through our Caregiver Rewards Program and referral bonuses.

Flexible full-time and part-time shifts available in Trenton and surrounding areas. As a CHHA, you will assist with daily living activities, personal care, mobility support, and companionship, while following care plans and maintaining a safe home environment.

Qualifications

• Valid NJ Board of Nursing Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) license is required.
• Available in Trenton and surrounding areas.
• English preferred; bilingual candidates encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home care and companionship to clients.
• Assist with daily activities (dressing, bathing, meals) and mobility.
• Keep living spaces safe and clean; maintain care plans.

Job Responsibilities:

• Bring comfort and companionship to clients in their homes
• Frequent standing and walking; assisting members with daily activities (dressing, bathing, and meals); bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and occasional lifting or supporting individuals
• Help with daily care — like dressing, bathing, toileting, and meals
• Keep living spaces clean, safe, and welcoming
• Offer medication reminders and support healthy routines
• Comfortable working in diverse client homes and respecting various personalities and behaviors.
• Most importantly:Be a friendly face and a steady presence
