Job summary

AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. is seeking a full-time Pick-up and Delivery Driver to operate commercial motor vehicles safely and efficiently.

You will load/unload freight, document shipments, and ensure on-time, damage-free delivery while maintaining professional relations with customers. Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent, 1 year of driving experience, CDL Class A with hazardous materials endorsements, and ability to meet DOT drug testing and medical requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 21 years or older required.
• CDL Class A with hazmat and double/triple endorsements.
• One year driving experience required.
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Satisfactory background check.
• Pass ACT road test.
• Able to be forklift certified.
• Familiar with hazardous materials procedures.
• Must read/write/speak English well.

Responsibilities

• Safely and legally operate commercial motor vehicles.
• Load/unload trailers and move freight to/from terminal dock.
• Record shipments using bills of lading, receipts, and tally sheets.
• Maintain records to comply with state/federal regulations.
• Maintain professional relations with customers.
• Hook/unhook trailers and manage landing gear operations.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operating condition.
• Fuel trucks and tractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
