Job summary

AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. is seeking a full-time Pick-up and Delivery Driver to safely operate commercial motor vehicles and ensure on-time, damage-free delivery.

You will load/unload freight, document shipments, and maintain regulatory compliance while fostering strong customer relations. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 21+ years old, CDL-A with hazmat/double/triple endorsements, at least 1 year driving experience, and ability to pass DOT tests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 21 years or older requirement.
• Class A CDL with hazmat and double/triple endorsements.
• At least 1 year of driving experience.
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Satisfactory background check and DOT road test.
• Must be able to certify as forklift operator.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Load and unload trailers and move freight across the terminal dock.
• Record shipment quantities using bills of lading, receipts and tally sheets.
• Maintain records for state and federal compliance.
• Develop and maintain professional relations with customers.
• Hook and unhook trailers and operate landing gear.
