Job summary

AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. is seeking full-time pickup and delivery drivers to safely operate commercial motor vehicles, load/unload freight, and maintain accurate shipment records.

You will build professional relations with customers and ensure on-time, damage-free delivery while adhering to safety and DOT regulations. Applicants should have a Class A CDL with HazMat and double/triple endorsements, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 1 year of driving experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English well.
• Experience with safe operation of commercial vehicles preferred.
• Flexible working hours and shifts are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Load and unload trailers and move freight across the terminal dock.
• Record quantity and type of shipments using bills of lading and receipts.
• Maintain records for compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Develop and maintain professional relations with customers.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operating condition.
• Fuel trucks and tractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
