Job summary

AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. is seeking a full-time Pick-up and Delivery Driver to safely operate commercial motor vehicles and ensure freight is delivered on time and undamaged.

You will load and unload trailers, maintain records, and build strong relations with customers at our terminals. Applicants must have a Class A CDL with hazmat and double/triple endorsements, at least one year of driving experience, and pass DOT screenings and tests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 21 years or older required.
• Class A CDL with hazardous materials and double/triple endorsements.
• One year driving experience required.
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Satisfactory background check and DOT road test.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial motor vehicles safely and legally.
• Load/unload trailers and move freight at the terminal with/without equipment.
• Record shipment details using bills of lading and receipts.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Develop professional relations with customers.
• Hook/unhook trailers and inspect equipment for safety.
