AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. is seeking a full-time Pick-up and Delivery Driver. The role focuses on safe operation of commercial vehicles, timely delivery, and maintaining strong customer relations.

Requires Class A CDL with hazmat and doubles/triples endorsements, plus forklift certification. Excellent benefits accompany this family-friendly, home-nightly schedule. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, record-keeping, and ensuring compliance with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 21 years or older.
• Class A CDL with hazmat & doubles/triples endorsements.
• One year driving experience required.
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Satisfactory background check.
• Pass ACT road test.
• Be certified as a forklift operator.
• Familiar with proper hazmat procedures.
• Read, write, speak and understand English well.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial motor vehicles in compliance with laws.
• Load/unload trailers and move freight at the terminal dock.
• Record shipments using bills of lading, receipts and tally sheets.
• Maintain compliance records for state and federal regulations.
• Develop and maintain relations with customers.
• Hook/unhook trailers and manage landing gear.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operation.
• Fuel trucks and tractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
