Job summary

AAA Cooper Transportation is hiring a Pick-up and Delivery Driver to safely operate commercial vehicles, delivering freight on time and damage-free in the United States. You will load/unload, document shipments, and maintain customer relations while adhering to DOT regulations.

Eligible candidates must hold a Class A CDL with hazmat and double/triple endorsements, have at least 1 year of driving experience, and be prepared for flexible hours. A comprehensive benefits package is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CDL A with hazmat and double/triple endorsements required.
• Minimum 1 year driving experience.
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Satisfactory background check and ACT road test.
• Flexible hours and ability to operate forklift.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and legal operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Load and unload trailers and move freight in the terminal with/without equipment.
• Record shipments using bills of lading and tally sheets.
• Maintain compliance records for state and federal regulations.
• Develop and maintain professional relations with customers.
• Hook and unhook trailers and operate landing gear.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operation.
• Fuel trucks and tractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
