Job summary

AAA Cooper Transportation is seeking a full-time Pickup and Delivery Driver to safely operate commercial motor vehicles and ensure on-time, damage-free freight delivery. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, documenting shipments, and maintaining regulatory records while fostering strong customer relations.

Applicants must hold a valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsements, have at least 1 year of driving experience, pass DOT drug screen and physical, and communicate effectively in English.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
• Minimum 1 year driving experience.
• Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.
• Read, write, and understand English well.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe operation of commercial motor vehicles.
• Load/unload trailers and move freight at the terminal, with or without assistance.
• Record shipments using bills of lading, delivery receipts, and tally sheets.
• Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Develop and maintain professional relations with customers.
• Hook and unhook trailers, raise/lower landing gear, inspect equipment for defects.
• Fuel trucks and tractors.
• Perform all other work-related duties as assigned.
