Job summary

Del Norte Credit Union in Santa Fe, NM is seeking a Home Equity Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of home equity loans, from application to closing. The role involves assessing member needs, credit analysis, regulatory compliance, and delivering exceptional service.

You will collaborate with members, underwriters, and partners to grow the loan portfolio while maintaining compliance with RESPA, TILA, TRID, and HMDA requirements.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of similar or related experience.
• Knowledge of mortgage operations and origination systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Consult with members to assess home equity lending needs and guide applicants from application to closing.
• Evaluate loan applications and make lending decisions per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Process and manage home equity loan files, coordinate with underwriting, and ensure timely completion.
• Ensure compliance with applicable mortgage lending regulations (RESA, TILA, TRID, ECOA, HMDA).
• Develop relationships with referral partners and internal stakeholders to support loan growth.
