Job summary

Credit Union of Southern California is seeking a Home Equity Specialist to educate Members about home equity loans and lines of credit, and to build portfolios by originating, processing, and pre-underwriting loans. The role is based in Anaheim Hills CA with a hybrid schedule (2 days in-office, 3 days remote).

You will advise Members on rates, programs and promotions, obtain applications, verify documents, and coordinate with underwriting to deliver compliant, timely loan decisions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of sales/origination experience in real estate, mortgage, or lending industries.
• Experience with Encompass and Symitar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate Members about home equity products.
• Originate, process, and pre-underwrite home equity loans.
• Maintain knowledge of rates, programs, and promotions.
• Ensure loan files meet regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Production Manager/VP of Real Estate.
