Del Norte Credit Union in Santa Fe, NM seeks a Virtual Experience Consultant to deliver personalized service to members through phone and digital channels. You will guide members through deposit and lending solutions, interview applicants, analyze financial information, and ensure a confidential, compliant experience.

The role requires in-person work at the Cerrillos Branch, with a focus on consumer lending, documentation gathering, and adherence to Credit Union policies.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of consumer lending experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent communication and PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with financial services through a consultative approach to determine value-added products and/or services; open/close accounts, loans, cards, answer questions, resolve issues.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of core banking system including loan/deposit platforms.
• Proactively assist with deposit and lending needs via online and phone channels with prudent credit analysis and knowledge of lending practices; interview applicants for credit decisions while maintaining confidentiality.
• Resolve problems within authority or refer to supervisor with recommendations.
• Ensure all needed member documents are collected for loan processing per policy.
• Participate in staff training and coaching; attend training sessions/workshops.
• Promote a needs-based member education culture in the Virtual Contact Center and mentor consultants.
• Work effectively in a team to support branch and organization goals.
• Comply with regulations, security procedures and annual compliance training.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
