Job summary

CoxHealth is seeking a Patient Care Representative III to deliver and educate customers on durable medical equipment in homes or clinics. You will provide 24/7 coverage, triage calls, and handle referral intake and warehouse tasks.

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent; no prior experience required. You will interact professionally with customers, maintain inventory systems, and stay compliant with regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Experience: No Previous Experience Required.
• Must be able to use computer/software systems and phone system to transmit orders.
• Markets and represents Home Support in a positive and professional manner.
• Possesses the ability to communicate as a team when problem solving with co-workers and supervisors.
• Familiar with regulatory agencies and CoxHealth Home Support policy and procedures.
• Demonstrates timeliness, courtesy, sincerity and patience when dealing with customers.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate order placement and tracking.
• Maintains knowledge of respiratory and DME equipment and trends in home care.
• Follows hospital emergency codes, OSHA standards, infection control, and safety principles.
• Communicates problems/needs clearly via appropriate channels.
• Follows DOT, Joint Commission, OSHA, FDA regulations relevant to job.
• Must obtain Class E Driver's License within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Delivery, set-up and education of durable medical equipment and supplies in customer home, Home Support office, or clinic/hospital.
• Provides 24-hour/day coverage to Home Support customers and triages all calls.
• Responsible for referral intake and warehouse duties.
