Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Home Dialysis RN to join our team as a Full Time role. The candidate will train and educate patients on peritoneal and home hemodialysis using advanced training programs and equipment.

The position primarily operates in the clinic, with initial home visits conducted alongside another staff member. The RN functions as a patient educator and case manager across various shifts and duties.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the appropriate state is required.
• CPR/BLS certification is required.
• Experience with nephrology/ dialysis nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Empower, engage, and train dialysis patients on peritoneal and home hemodialysis using state of the art training programs and equipment.
• Primarily works in the clinic setting and conducts initial home visits with another staff member present.
• Position functions as an onsite Patient Educator and Case Manager for patients with various shifts and work hours.
• Performs all essential functions under the direction of the Supervisor with guidance from Educator/Preceptor or in collaboration with another RN.
