Job summary

Fresenius Kidney Care in Huntington, WV seeks an entry-level Registered Nurse to join the Clinical Advancement Program (CAP) as Home Therapies RN CAP 1. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients, assess responses to home dialysis training, and communicate issues to the physician.

As part of the ESD care team, you will participate in decision‑making, teaching, leadership, and quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care for an assigned group of patients in home dialysis.
• Assess and manage patients' response to home dialysis training and treatment.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document justification.
• Train patients and Home Partners on safe, effective home dialysis procedures.
• Participate in staff training, orientation and quality improvement activities.
